last night i finally decided i would make a vintage shop on etsy! i made my page last night & today i shopped, photographed & listed. there is more to come so add the shop to your feed to keep up! spread the word too, dang. i’m pumped!

nick had a birthday this month.

i opened the window a crack for some fresh air. all the kits came over & stuck their noses out. sniffffff.

it’s been so sunny this week! february was way grey. it’s a lot brighter in here than it looks in the photo. don’t worry, i’m not sitting in pitch black. i’m waiting for nick to get up & just staring out the window. the high today is plus 4 & i’m wishing i was in hamilton where it’s plus 6 today. i could find a lot more things to do outside in hamilton. i’m pretty bored of rochester. there are only a few things i enjoy here now but i can’t really think of anything to do outside. i’m bored of everything! hamilton in may & it’s ALLLLL i can think about.

recently, a new thrift opened up nearby. we go there pretty regularly now & have been finding the most amazing things! i always enjoyed the hunt but the stores around here are all way too disorganised & i’ve been so unmotivated to even go. since this new one opened, i’m reborn! i miss value village & this is the closest thing to it. the prices are way better though. i might find myself missing amvets once i’m back in canada. today i got some nice tops, sheer peach pantyhose (i’m wearing them in the photos, so sheer) & a surprisingly nice pair of tommy shorts. i would take photos but i don’t know how to take good photos of clothes. to top it all off, 25% student discount!

ps: those black shoes are form h&m. i’m not THAT good at thrift. i’ve been hunting for a pair just like them & i’m so happy i found them.

today is a big dump of snow day. i can’t believe how much it snowed over night & it’s still snowing! elizabeth was supposed to come visit this weekend but nothing was working out in our favour so we had to give up & make it another weekend. we’re still getting over it but we’re not letting anything stop us next time.

i made the best of the day though. nick & i were heading towards the car & then we saw this, so we didn’t even try & just walked away from it. it was for the better. we went wandering around & ended up at magnolia’s where i had the most delicious panini (correction: panino! thanks maria!) & nick had some spicy chili. later i shoveled the snow & now my arms feel all pumped up.
