when we moved we had to leave our plants behind. that included the little jade plant i bought for nick the weekend we started dating, two years ago. yesterday, i bought a new one! we’re going to keep this one forever. i hope it will be a floor plant one day.
at the end of may i came back to canada & i brought nick with me. there was a welcoming/homecoming party put on by my best friends in our honour. it was such a good time. sparklers, fire, s’mores, daiquiris, banana bread, mini muffins, cake. it is sooo so good to be home. it’s a beautiful summer & it’s going to be perfect. then, in september, we’ll be off to halifax for three years or more!
i went out to tweedside cemetery with mum when i got home. she showed me my great great grandparent’s grave, my great great aunt’s (ethel & marion) grave & my great uncle elvin’s grave. i saw them when i was little & had no idea what i was looking at. it was awesome to see my great great grand parent’s grave! they are so old!!
if you’re in the sheffield area then you better be attending this! my work & many other amazing artists from no culture icons will be up. at the opening there will be cake & tea & a BBQ right by the river. how can you say no?

it’s been a good run but i have to close up my etsy shops indefinitely. i hope one day i can reopen them but i really don’t know right now. i’m moving back to my homeland of canada where i’ll be working & going to school like a normal person again! i’ll still be blogging & flickring & tumbling & tweeting so don’t say bye yet! i’ve e-met & even irl-met some really amazing people from being on etsy. i never imagined all the friends & support i’d gain when i was just starting up. i’m really glad i had the chance. so, thank you friends! see you in canader.
