sweet elo sent me the nicest package & it was sitting in my mailbox today. see the paper she wrapped it in? i loved opening my mailbox to that! she sent me two prints, both are of iceland. you can see them close here & here. i can’t wait to get little frames for these & hang them up when i get into our new home in september! i love the idea of iceland & i really want to go one day. i’ve never even considered it until i saw elo’s photos. she makes it look so nice. thank you elo!

i know everyone is posting about dreamcats but i have to say how much i love it. i wish i thought of it so badly. but look, my little baby beader made it on! the photos are taken by elizabeth simpson of birch & sycamore. she also happens to be my old roomie & long time bestie.

i’ll be moving home for the summer at the end of the month. since i’m trying to purge my belongings & clear out treefox vintage, i won’t be buying any more clothing to list. it’s been a short run but i’ve had great success & i thank everyone for supporting me! it’s been really fun learning the ropes of selling vintage on etsy. i hope to start back up in september when i’m more settled in my new home in halifax, ns.

i’ve had to plan so much lately, so much farther ahead than i’m used to planning & i think i’m starting to get things under control. we’ve been getting a head start on packing & i’m really glad i did. everything needs to be super organized & it all needs to fit in our volvo wagon! that is a serious amount of consolidating.

while we were in philly we went to the wagner free institute of science. everything is still as it was at the turn of the century & it’s the most beautiful museum i’ve ever been to. no one was there with us as we wandered around & that made it even better.
